2010 TAC RECCE REUNION

The 2010 Tac Recce Reunion. Will be held October 8-10, 2010 at the Hotel InterContinental Kansas City at the Plaza, 401 Ward Parkway, Kansas City, MO 64112.

The aircrews and families of Voodoo, Phantom and all other types of tactical reconnaissance aircraft are invited to attend the 2010 Tac Recce Reunion. Honorary members of the Tac Recce Reunion Assn and the Voodoo Pilots Assn. are also invited.


Dates: October 8-10, 2010 (checkout on Oct. 11)

Room Rate: $119. The rate is available two days prior and two day after the reunion. For telephone reservations, call 1-866-856-9717. Identify yourself as part of the Tac Recce Association Annual Meeting.

If you have an email address you will receive email confirmation. The confirmation message will state that there is a charge for parking. That is incorrect. Parking is free.


Includes:

Spacious hospitality room. This is the same hospitality room used for the 2005 Voodoo Reunion. Those who attended that reunion will remember it had a large open area joining a long area with offices along one side. The entire area has been redecorated.

Complimentary American buffet breakfast served in the hospitality room.

Complimentary lighted parking in the garage.

Adjacent to the historic Country Club Plaza with an abundance of shopping and eating establishments.

Friday Night is open for unit or aircraft group gatherings.

Saturday night you will have a choice of Dinner Theatre or Jazz Crawl.

Sunday Night will be the final banquet with a choice of three entrees.


Arrangements can be made for a variety of daytime tours. Suggested is:

The Liberty Memorial and World War I Museum. In 2004 the Museum was designated by Congress as the United States’ official World War I Museum. The museum has been completely rebuilt and opened in Dec. 2006 as an 80,000-square-foot, state-of-the art facility.

Arabia Steamship Museum. The Steamship Arabia sunk in the Missouri River in Sept. 1856. In 1985 efforts began to recover the Arabia and its sunken treasures. They are now on display in the River Market area.

Harley-Davidson Motorcycle factory. A free tour to see how motorcycles are manufactured.
